Because http//:ctd.6.forumer.com lost its moderater and had a lot of trash put on it for a while, some people tried to start other forums but they didn't take. They do have some interesting remarks on them and are waiting to be re-animated.

The most recent is - http://freewales.999.org - which presently leads to - http://freewales.11.forumer.com/ - which was intended to be more serious

The previous one was - http://wales.6.forumer.com/ - which started well but faltered - I have been posting notes about historical items there because it has a convenient "archive" section.

Y Gwerin: http://uk.geocities.com/ygwerin/
A personal site arguing for the break up of the UK into separate republics.
I have exchanged a few e-mails with him and he seems quite dedicated and approachable

Don't know anything about the following!
Welsh Socialist Republicans: http://www.iforbach.demon.co.uk/no_more_fairy_tales1.htm

Resurgence Cymru: http://resurgencecymru.org/

Eryr Gwyn -Thoughts: http://www.freewebs.com/eryrgwyn/

Welsh Republican Comment: http://groups.msn.com/WelshRepublicanComment

New independent Wales blogg: http://independent-wales.blogspot.com/

Socialist Environmental Republican News from Wales: http://seren.blogspirit.com/

I'm sure there is more out there, like the British Nationalists in Wales Watch site for example.

So a whole host of independence, nationalist and republican sites. Would be good to see a bit more unity and one or two high quality websites.

And another: http://sianioan.tripod.com/galw.index.html

Surely a bit of unity? ie one Independence / Republican / Nationalist site and forum that brought all this energy together in one place would be a good idea.

Here is a new Cornish website that has just started up; This is not England: http://thisisnotengland.co.uk/

I mention it because I like its simplicity and think its a style that could work for a Welsh Republican site.

It has a simple front page with a basic introduction to the subject and then it has a left and right link which lead to a blog and a forum respectively.

Don't you think this could work for you?

Anyway here is a thread in the forum that I started on Republicanism that I would like to invite you along to leave your thoughts on.

Hope to see you there: http://thisisnotengland.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32

I was behind the freewales.999.org site but I have let it lapse, as I can only post sporadically. I would prefer to be a contributor to a larger site rather than bang the drum on my own, and I am a frequent contributor to the Independent Wales blog - http://independent-wales.blogspot.com

I would be happy to join a larger community

Do I take it that the above two posts were a response to my announcing yesterday that I finally went ahead and started to set up this Welsh republican political directory http://repwblic.org ?

Did you get my email about the passwords for this PenDdu ?
