I'm kind of surprised that nobody has mentioned yet the passing of one of the most vocal republicans that Wales has produced in the last fifty years. A friend of mine visited Kenneth a couple of years ago to interview him about his pro-irish-republican views and the main thing that came out of the interview was how much hostility he had experienced on account of them, and how difficult it had become to get work, how the BBC had become distinctly cool towards him. I'm no authority on the man, so I'll just fish for some links to read. I had the privilege of meeting Kenneth in person at Cilmeri about three years ago, very outspoken, especially about the Welsh “keeping a welcome in the hillside” regarding the English, in short he said DON’T, tell them to f**k off back to England, he joked that at his age he could afford to say these things and that all he had to worry about was keeping his teeth in, we laughed, about three sentences later his top teeth popped out and rolled down the mound towards us, we all saw the comedy in it including Kenneth. A sad loss for Wales.
